Love Hemp Full Review
The CBD market in the United Kingdom may be relatively new, but it has already proven to be a goldmine for entrepreneurs savvy enough to get in on the ground floor. Cannabidiol has already become a billion-dollar industry in the United States, as the non-intoxicating cannabinoid has been linked with the alleviation of various symptoms.
Love Hemp are just one of the many companies now bringing CBD oil to UK shores. But is the brand reliable and how well do their products work? Here’s all you need to know.
Who Are Love Hemp?
There is a lot of love for this London-based company, which has quickly pushed its way towards the front of the CBD queue. Love Hemp was founded by Tony Calamita and Tony Rowland in 2015, and the company grew fast.
The brand calls itself ‘The Home of Hemp,’ and its goal is to provide Britain, Europe, and the United States with premium quality full-spectrum cannabinoid extracts from ethically sourced hemp plants. Furthermore, with minimal THC, Love Hemp’s products are in no danger of getting consumers high.
As well as selling CBD oil, Love Hemp also sells CBD water, which has become an unexpected hit.
Review of Love Hemp CBD Oil
Love Hemp’s standard CBD oil comes in 10 mL bottles, with a variety of strengths and flavours:
- 300mg (3%): £19.99
- 1000mg (10%): £49.99
- 2000mg (20%): £99.99
- 4000mg (40%): £199.99
We even located a 10% bottle containing a whopping 100 ml of liquid, or 10,000 mg of CBD, for £399.99. Although expensive, this is actually great value compared with the smaller bottle size.
The flavoured options (Peppermint or Orange) tasted reasonably good. And although the earthy undertone will not be to everyone’s taste, they are more palatable than the Natural version.
To use the oil, place the drops beneath your tongue for 30-60 seconds, and swallow to increase bioavailability.
Love Hemp claims that it uses high-quality hemp extracts that are not mass-produced. The company handpicks extracts from the best hemp fields around the world, and the CBD comes from crops grown without the aid of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, or herbicides.
All it takes is a glance at the oil to understand that you’re dealing with a legitimate enterprise. We have seen CBD oil from companies that had a yellowish color, and the quality was low. In contrast, Love Hemp’s CBD oil has a dark green hue that looks as if it came from a healthy hemp plant.
Our tester used 0.5ml a day and felt significantly calmer and more relaxed. There’s no question that Love Hemp’s CBD oil is premium quality. Our one complaint is that we could not find lab reports for the products on the website, although the company does claim that they exist.
Review of Love Hemp Water
You can purchase bottles of Love Hemp’s water in High Street health stores such as Holland & Barrett for just £1.29 per 500ml. Since brand name bottled water usually costs about the same or is even more expensive, this water is a handy way to boost your daily CBD intake while also remaining hydrated.
To be honest, we didn’t notice a great deal of difference in taste when compared with typical bottled water. This is perhaps because each bottle only contains 2 mg of natural hemp extract, which is unlikely to alleviate many – if any – symptoms for most people. Personally, we felt nothing extra after drinking this water, although there are plenty of positive online reviews.
Love Hemp’s Other CBD Products
Love Hemp also offers CBD chocolate in 20mg (from £3.99) and 100mg (£11.99) strengths. This is a tasty way to enjoy CBD for anyone who dislikes the taste of the oils.
We also liked the cosmetic range, which includes 300mg Body Salve (£29.99) and a CBD Cellulose Face Mask (£9.99). The brand also offers a variety of CBD vape products, starting from just £7.49 for the CBD isolate.
The website also has a merchandise section, with clothing, mugs, and tote bags. One unusual product that we were happy to see was the brand’s hemp straws. They cost £9.99 for a pack of 25, which is a little expensive. However, for anyone trying to cut down on their use of plastic, they could be a worthwhile investment.
Where Can I Purchase Love Hemp CBD Products?
It is possible to purchase Love Hemp’s products from their official website. They offer free second-class shipping on all orders within the UK. You also have the option to pay for first-class delivery (free on orders over £30), special delivery, or Saturday delivery.
The company also delivers throughout Europe and even to the USA. However, they are unable to deliver to several different states for legal reasons. More information is available on the Love Hemp website.
Final Thoughts on Love Hemp CBD
We liked Love Hemp’s product range and had no problems with the standard of the delivery service or the quality of the packaging. For our tester, the CBD oil worked as he hoped it would, enabling him to feel calmer and more relaxed in a social setting. It also did an excellent job of helping him get to sleep.
One major downside is the lack of easily accessible lab reports. The brand claims to have them, but we could not find them on the website. Until we see them, we can’t wholeheartedly recommend Love Hemp’s CBD oil, even though it looks, tastes, and even acts like the real thing.
As for the water, don’t expect it to be a life-changer! There is nothing wrong with it per se, but it doesn’t contain anywhere near enough CBD to have a noticeable effect on symptoms.
