Loveburgh CBD Brand Review

Loveburgh CBD is a British CBD brand with offices in Edinburgh and the Netherlands. Founded in 2015 by a man named Jas, the company was born out of the necessity to heal and nurture the human body. Jas first embarked on a journey of self-discovery back in 2013, when he adopted a full plant-based diet. This led to self-healing and the rebalancing of various ailments he suffered from at the time.

Jas also decided to add an array of cannabinoids to his daily diet in an effort to manage his conditions. The transformation was almost instant, with certain imbalances starting to even themselves out within just a few months. Amazed by the results, Jas knew he had to introduce cannabinoids to the UK market. After a lot of trial and error, along with sampling sessions with friends and family, Loveburgh was born two years later.

The company’s mission is to put a smile on people’s faces using the wonderful gifts that mother nature provides us with. Their hemp is sourced from farms throughout the UK, Denmark, and the Netherlands, and products are sold in several locations across Europe.

Loveburgh strives to be sustainable and is therefore committed to using environmentally-friendly hemp growing measures, along with recyclable materials. The overall goal is to minimize their impact on the planet through daily operations.

Unfortunately, the Loveburgh website is not as professional or user-friendly as many of the other CBD brands we’ve reviewed. It’s also missing some very important information, like third-party lab reports – which aren’t even mentioned anywhere.

Nevertheless, the product range is good, and the brand seems committed to ensuring that its products are of the highest quality.

What Products Did We Review?

Loveburgh has a great range of products to choose from, ranging from full-spectrum and rapid absorb CBD oils, to hemp teas. They have grouped products into the following categories; CBD e-liquids, CBD oils, CBD raw juice, hemp extracts, and hemp proteins & powders. We will look at each of these product lines below.

The company aims to improve human performance through plant power and is committed to using 100% plant synergy. All products are made with love and real ingredients, just as mother nature intended.

Loveburgh CBD: What to Expect from These Products

Over the years, Loveburgh has built a great reputation with customers and retailers alike. It’s no surprise they are quickly becoming the chosen brand for big retail chains across the UK. As of 2018, Loveburgh CBD is one of the fastest-growing cannabis brands, with products being sold by hundreds of outlets across Europe.

Here’s an overview of the product selection you have when shopping at Loveburgh.

CBD E-liquids

The Loveburgh CBD e-liquids are among the most natural on the market, containing no synthetic chemicals like PG or PEG. They are 100% plant-based and made entirely from coconut-derived VG, along with a range of organic fruit, and herb derived terpenes.

They are available in three delicious flavors; Cedar, Citrus, and Grape. Each flavor comes in a choice of three strengths, including 200mg, 400mg, and 800mg.

CBD Oils

The Loveburgh CBD oils are grouped into three categories; Full-spectrum, Rapid absorb, and Super strength. Each of these varieties comes in a different carrier oil and different strengths. They are all THC-free but contain a combination of CBD, CBG, and other cannabinoids. The company claims that the oils are packed with CBDa.

The full-spectrum CBD oil range uses hemp seed oil as the carrier oil (one variety uses olive oil) and is available in strengths of 250mg, 400mg, 420mg, and 600mg. They are all totally raw, with a natural earthy and spicy taste.

The super-strength CBD oil line is made using MCT oil and gives a super smooth and natural earthy taste. These come in three potency options; 750mg, 1,500mg, and 2,000mg.

Lastly is the rapid absorb option, which is only available in one strength; 500mg. This one contains liposomal CBD and curcumin. Liposomal means that it can be dissolved in water and some claim it is more effective.

CBD Raw Juice

Loveburgh sells a nutrient-rich, CBD-infused, raw fruit and veg smoothie that is available in three unique flavors; Berry Blast, Green Supreme, and Orange Dream. The nutritional profile sees a good serving of a combination of vitamins A, C, K, B6, B12, calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and carotene (beta and alpha) – depending on the flavor.

Additionally, each 500ml bottle contains 25mg of CBD+CBDa, along with natural hemp terpenes, amino acids, and omega fats.

Hemp Extracts

Loveburgh only has one product under its hemp extracts category, and it is a CBD paste. A paste is a more concentrated kind of CBD oil and offers a more natural approach to tinctures.

The brand has two CBD paste varieties; Gold 50% and Raw 10%. The Gold 50% option is high strength and contains 50mg of CBD and CBDa per serving (1,500mg total). The Raw 10% option is low strength and contains 20mg of CBD and CBDa per serving (1,000mg total).

Hemp Proteins & Powders

The Loveburgh store also sells hemp protein, which is packed full of protein but contains no CBD. That said, it’s still a great addition to a healthy lifestyle. It’s available in two flavors; Raw and Strawberry + Green Tea Extract.

Hemp Teas

Loveburgh additionally offers a line of hemp teas, which are quite beneficial for your health and can also have a pleasant taste. The brand has four varieties to choose from; Cocoa, Herbs, Chai, and Simply Hemp. However, none of them contain any CBD.

What Else Should I Know About Loveburgh CBD?

When we talk about pioneers in the UK CBD industry, Loveburgh CBD deserves a lot of credit. While other market leaders (CBD Tardis, Flora Fusion, etc.) repackage already existing products, Loveburgh began their journey on the same land as Jacob Hooy. The company has since grown to its very own hemp farm and production facility in the Netherlands.

This is very important when we consider the true origin of CBD products and the claims that many companies make. Loveburgh truly controls the process from seed to shelf – there are a lot of companies that make this claim but, it is not always true.

Loveburgh CBD Review: Summary & Where to Buy?

Loveburgh CBD is an up-and-coming company with a lot of impact on the market and a growing number of products. We love that they control all aspects from seed to the consumer, which means that Loveburgh knows exactly what’s going into every product. The downfall is perhaps that third-party lab reports are not available, which means that there is no way of verifying claims that products are 100% natural and contain no pesticides or fertilizers.

Oddly enough, the Loveburgh products are not available to purchase directly from the website. Instead, you will have to find your nearest store by using the “Where to Buy” tab. You can still view the products on the website, but in today’s world, it is very inconvenient not to have an online store function.
