QCarbo Detox Review: Quick Guide
- QCarbo detox drinks are NOT effective for marijuana detox
- They contain no active lipophilic-absorbing compounds
- Our team tested the QCarbo detox range, and failed several at-home drug tests
Herbal Clean Review: About QCarbo
In what is becoming a multi-million-dollar detox industry, companies like Herbal Clean offer products that supposedly help rid the body of unwanted toxins. Unfortunately, for those looking to quickly detox from marijuana, our Herbal Clean detox review made it pretty clear these are not a reliable products for helping pass a drug test.
Earlier this year our team tested several popular cannabis detox products, measuring their effectiveness against reliable at-home drug tests. Only one of them managed to help produce a negative THC test – and it wasn’t QCarbo.
For the thousands of cannabis users that think Herbal Clean’s QCarbo detox drinks actually can help pass a drug test, well… they’re in for a rude awakening come test day. The good news is, there are companies that make advanced dietary fiber detox treatments that actually do work to quickly detox the body of THC. If you have an upcoming drug test and need to detox your system fast, this 24-hour urine detox treatment was by far the best when we tested out a few products earlier this year:
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Herbal Clean’s QCarbo range is designed to remove unwanted toxins from the body. Although the company explicitly states that Q-Carbo is not designed to help pass drug tests, the truth is this is one of the main reasons people buy it!
Unfortunately, based on our own personal tests and reviews, the QCarbo detox range simply doesn’t work to help produce a negative THC test.

QCarbo Review: Top 3 Products
Herbal Clean’s #1 Product: QCarbo 16
QCarbo 16 contains 16 ounces of cleansing formula. It is ready to drink so just open the bottle and consume the contents. According to Herbal Clean, you should urinate as often as possible as part of the detox process, especially in the first hour after taking QCarbo 16.
The blend of herbs and minerals in the drink helps flush out unwanted toxins and also ensures that your body receives the vitamins and minerals it needs to stay healthy during the process. Its ingredients include Creatine Monohydrate, Turmeric Root Extract, Juniper Berry Extract, and Apple Pectin.
Unsurprisingly, there is no published clinical research to support claims that QCarbo 16 actually help with detox.
Currently, a bottle will set you back around $36.74 (not too bad of a price if it means the difference between you landing that new job, or not). It comes in several flavors including Tropical, Strawberry Mango, Orange, and Grape.
There is no published research to support claims that QCarbo 16 actually helps with detox.
Herbal Clean Detox Review: QCarbo 32
You might believe that QCarbo 32 is the same as QCarbo 16 (only bigger), but you would be surprisingly mistaken. Although it shares many of the same ingredients, there are enough differences to state that QCarbo 32 is actually a completely different product. Ingredients include Cayenne Pepper, Burdock Root Extract, and Fibersol 2, and while it does contain Creatine Monohydrate, there is less of it.
You will experience the maximum effect within three hours of consuming this 32-ounce fluid, and it is probably a better option than QCarbo 16 if your goal is to pass a drug test. Ultimately, we were surprised to see so many ingredients; far more than in any other cleansing product we’ve come across. As of the time of writing, it costs around $52.49 on the Herbal Clean website.
QCarbo 20 Clear
This product is marketed as “extreme strength,” and it apparently works best with Herbal Clean’s Super Boost Energy Detox Tablets. It comes in three flavors: Cran-Raspberry, Lemon Lime, and Strawberry Mango. Ingredients include Creatine Monohydrate, Gentian Root, Guarana Seed Extract, and Wheat Grass. We were a little concerned by the appearance of artificial flavors in the Qcarbo 20, which would seem to contradict the whole idea of “detox”.
For best results, drink a 20-ounce glass of water around 20 minutes before drinking the whole QCarbo 20 bottle. Wait 15 minutes, and drink another 20-ounce glass of water – you can expect to urinate frequently throughout the day, especially in the first hour. Current cost is roughly $41.99 on the website.
Herbal Clean Review: Are QCarbo’s Products Effective?
The clear and simple answer here is no. In our experience, the Herbal Clean QCarbo range does not help to detox the body of THC or pass a drug test.
First and foremost, you have to follow the correct detox protocol if you expect the QCarbo range of detox cleansers to do anything at all. Avoid toxins such as alcohol, sugar, and tobacco for at least 48 hours before using one of the detox products. Also, increase your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables as they contain nutrients to help the body begin to cleanse itself.
In our experience, the Herbal Clean QCarbo range did NOT help detox the body of THC, or help pass a drug test.
Drink the entire bottle of QCarbo on an empty stomach, and don’t eat for at least three hours. Refill the container with water and drink as much as possible. Experts recommend consuming at least eight 16-ounce glasses of water over a 24 hour period after drinking the detox, to ensure proper hydration and also to speed up the detox process.
One of the biggest “plus points” here is the ease of use – simply open a bottle and drink its contents (also making sure that you drink plenty of water). I personally experienced some mild stomach cramps and frankly, the entire experience was a bit of a misery. There is no problem eating clean for a couple of days, but drinking so much water is a royal pain – so is going to the bathroom 354 times per hour! (That’s an exaggeration of course, but you get the idea).
Do Herbal Clean QCarbo Drinks Have Side Effects?
The QCarbo drinks did produce a range of mild side effects. The most common were upset stomach, bright urine, and nausea. These would have been a minor inconvenience if the products actually helped pass a drug test, but the main issue was they didn’t seem to work for detox or for passing drug tests.
To be clear, Herbal Clean does not claim that QCarbo is an effective way to pass a drug test. Therefore we can’t criticize the company if its product is relatively ineffective for drug tests, since this is not QCarbo’s purpose.
Also, it’s impossible to say how many people fail their drug tests after using QCarbo, simply because the didn’t follow directions correctly. And of course, there is the small matter of whether individuals are heavy or light users of marijuana. QCarbo may work for light cannabis users who explicitly follow the instructions, but heavy smokers will likely need something a little more powerful – like Toxin Rid’s Advanced Dietary Fiber Detox Program.
QCarbo Highlights

QCarbo Downsides
- Likely to produce negative side effects such as upset stomach and nausea.
- Not scientifically proven.
- Unlikely to help you pass a drug test if you’re a heavy weed user.
- You have to follow explicit instructions and be on a strict diet to achieve decent results.
Where to Buy QCarbo Detox Products
If you’re still wanting to buy QCarbo online after reading this review, you can order directly through the Herbal Clean website. The products are also available in over 10,000 locations across the USA, so it is very likely to have a retailer within a few miles of your home if you’re looking to buy Herbal Clean detox.
If you have a drug test looming, it is obviously best to drive to a physical store rather than wait for delivery.
Herbal Clean QCarbo Review: Final Thoughts
After trying Herbal Clean’s most popular products, our opinion is that QCarbo detox is a complete waste of time. Herbal Clean is a well-respected company that has been in business for a long time, but their products simply aren’t reliable for THC detox if you’re trying to pass a drug test. This isn’t a bash against the company, as they’ve never claimed their products have anything to do with marijuana detox or drug testing.
Verdict: 3/10 – Reasonably effective for general cleansing, does not work for marijuana detox.
If you’ve got a drug test coming up and need to detox fast (i.e. within 24-hours), we recommend checking out the advanced dietary fiber detox programs from TestClear. They offer 1-day, 5-day, and 10-day at-home detox treatments, and unlike Herbal Clean’s QCarbo drinks, they actually worked to help cleanse the body of THC.
