ApexXx CBD Full Review

The CBD industry is becoming so huge that brands from other sectors are trying to muscle in on the action. We have already seen how Big Pharma has dug its talons in by selling synthesized CBD and THC medicines. Oddly enough, the FDA approves the likes of Epidolex while the real thing, CBD oil, remains on the list of controlled substances.

The issue with companies from other arenas getting involved is a lack of knowledge. Will they take the proper precautions and deliver high-quality CBD? Let’s see if ApexXx CBD is capable of doing so.

Who Are ApexXx CBD?

This particular company is merely the CBD arm of the ApexXx Nutrition brand. It is a UK-based organization but has designs on becoming a big name on the international scene. ApexXx CBD began with a Freeze Roll-On which was very popular by all accounts, so now it has expanded to sell more CBD products.

The brand claims the quality of CBD sets it apart from the rest.

ApexXx uses nano-technology to boost the bioavailability of its cannabidiol products. When you use CBD isolate orally, for example, it has to pass through the digestive system, which prevents the compound from going where it needs to. In fact, orally consumed CBD often has a bioavailability rate of just 10%.

ApexXx CBD makes the dubious claim that 99% of the CBD you consume in its products will be instantly converted to the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). All of its products are non-GMO, vegan, and 100% natural. The CBD comes from hemp grown in the EU and the United States. With no pesticides, insecticides, or other harmful chemicals, you should not have to worry about contamination.

Review of ApexXx CBD Oil

review of apexxx cbd oilThe brand doesn’t try to make things over-complicated when it comes to its CBD oil. It is full-spectrum and comes in two strengths:

  • 500mg: £36.99
  • 1500mg: £64.99

You can also buy 5 or 10 packs of either strength, making for some significant savings.

Both strengths come in a 10ml bottle, which also includes a 1ml dropper. The 1500mg oil is 85% organic hemp seed oil and 15% full-spectrum organic nano hemp extract. The 500mg oil is 95% hemp seed oil and 5% organic nano hemp extract. If you pick the 1500mg bottle, you get a whopping 150mg of CBD per 1ml dropper.

To use, simply place 2-3 drops beneath the tongue and avoid swallowing for up to 60 seconds. ApexXx says you can use the oil up to four times a day. The dose you take is entirely up to you. However, it is always wise to begin with a low amount (around 10mg a day) and work your way up.

If you wish to learn more, check out this WayofLeaf article about nanotechnology and CBD. In essence, the jury is very much out on whether nanotechnology enhances the efficacy of CBD. As for the claim of 99% bioavailability, while we’re not saying it isn’t possible, research to back up this suggestion is not widely available.

There is no flavored CBD oil, so if you don’t like the bitter hemp taste, you need to check out alternative products. Luckily, ApexXx has you covered.

Review of ApexXx CBD Freeze

review of apexxx cbd freezeCBD Freeze was apparently this brand’s flagship product. It is a roll-on form of CBD that contains a total of 100mg of CBD. Its other active ingredient is menthol, which helps provide that awesome fresh and cool feeling after you apply the Freeze to your skin.

According to ApexXx, the Freeze is 99.5% pure CBD derived from organically grown hemp. Other ingredients include the terpenes limonene and beta-caryophyllene and fatty acids. Once again, the brand claims that its CBD reacts immediately within the ECS.

We are simply not a fan of CBD companies that make such bold statements as this. While research shows that CBD can help pain relief, and symptoms of other conditions, there isn’t enough evidence to suggest it works ‘instantly’ or ‘immediately.’

It isn’t necessary to engage in hyperbole because CBD Freeze is a handy product. It feels good on the skin and begins to tackle pain quickly, just not immediately. The roll-on doesn’t contain drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs, and is extremely convenient.

Unlike CBD creams which get messy when you try to apply them, you can whip out your roll-on stick and apply it to any area of the body. Although it only contains 100mg of CBD, a little does go a long way in this case.

Review of ApexXx’s Other Products

ApexXx CBD sells four other products. First up is its gummy bear range. Each gummy contains 10mg or 25mg of CBD, and comes in a 30-pack. It is a convenient method for getting your CBD intake although we know that edibles have a lower bioavailability rate than CBD consumed through a vaporizer, for example.

Bath Bombs are designed to be added to your bath. They are round balls containing 60mg of CBD. Once again, ApexXx says the product is infused with nanotechnology CBD for better absorption. You can choose between four fragrances:

  • Coconut Lime
  • Lavender
  • Amber Bergamot
  • Eucalyptus

They are designed to have calming and soothing effects. All you need to do is place a bath bomb in warm water and soak in it for about half an hour. The CBD absorbs through the skin, and with a high bioavailability rate, you should feel the benefits of a reasonably high dose of CBD.

ApexXx also sells the standard CBD capsules. They are nanotechnology softgels with 25mg of CBD apiece. You can purchase a 5-pack or 25-pack. According to the brand, the technology enables the dense hemp oil extract to turn into a water-soluble liquid ready for absorption. Each softgel also contains a range of terpenes.

The final product range is their CBD vapes. There is a full vape kit available, as well as 1000mg e-liquid. However, when we visited the site, most of these products were sold out.

Where Can I Buy ApexXx CBD Products?

As always, we recommend the official ApexXx website. The brand pledges to send out your order on the next business day. It should take three working days for your package to arrive. International customers must wait 4-7 working days on average; although it could be longer. These individuals may also have to pay customs and import charges.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, get in touch within three days of receiving the product(s). ApexXx only offers refunds if they receive the request within seven days of purchase. It may not give you your money back if the items are damaged in any way, or opened.

Final Thoughts on ApexXx CBD

First of all, it is essential not to confuse this brand with the American-based CBD seller, APEX. We can’t be sure, but we don’t think the two companies are in any way related. In any case, ApexXx makes some claims which could be construed as hyperbolic.

It suggests that nanotechnology CBD has a 99% absorption rate and works instantly. We’ve yet to come across research which helps verify either claim. To be fair, the brand does go on to say that the ‘effects’ are felt in minutes, which is true when using the CBD Freeze.

There are also some dubious medical claims on the website, which we feel is just not necessary as the products should speak for themselves.

Rather than trying to squeeze CBD oil and Freeze into its existing brand, ApexXx Nutrition has created an entirely different company. Yet the website is poorly designed with a couple of glaring spelling mistakes. It was also sold out of many products when we visited the site, which is amazing. We have never seen a CBD seller with so many ‘sold out’ products. It clearly doesn’t stock many of those particular items.

Overall, it is worth trying the CBD Freeze for pain, and the CBD oil is reasonably priced. There are, however, more established brands on the market, so it will be hard for ApexXx to make a breakthrough.

Final Verdict – 5/10
