A few years ago, the idea of ‘vaping weed’ was alien to the vast majority of people. Whether they were using tobacco or marijuana, it was primarily all about smoking. However, as the dangers of combustion have been made clear in recent times, an increasing number of people are turning to vaporizers — and have been delighted with their decision.
Recently over in the United Kingdom, in fact, Public Health England stated that e-cigarettes were 95% safer than smoking – a claim that has since been supported by Cancer Research UK.
Moreover, a recent report on the Vapor Products Market suggested that the entire industry will be worth over $44 billion by 2024. These are truly astronomical numbers that nobody would have suspected even half a decade ago.
Meanwhile, the marijuana industry continues to grow like a weed (pun intended), and more users than ever before are choosing vape pens or cartridge vaporizers to consume their herb. Cannabis sales in California alone have already passed the multibillion dollar mark, and 60% of concentrate sales came in the form of vape pens and cartridge devices.
It’s small wonder, then, that vape shops are offering their products in seemingly every corner of states where weed is legal (either medicinally or recreationally).
| There are hundreds of brands selling vaporizers, however, and it’s no secret that the quality of all these units varies wildly.
So rather than wasting hours (at the very least) trying to find reputable firms, we’ve put together this detailed review of the top 15 brands on the market. These products have been well-reviewed by both the WayofLeaf staff and general U.S. consumers, and you can trust that they will be well worth your money if you decide to invest in one (or more) of the,.
Simply put, after reading this report it is our goal that the next time you head to Google and search for “vape shops near me,” you will know what the best vaporizer on the market is in 2020, and can choose accordingly. 1: Davinci IQ – Voted one of the Best Marijuana Vapes for 2020
Pretty much every review from experts in vaporizing suggested that the Davinci IQ is one of the world’s most ‘intelligent’ vaporizers. What does this mean exactly? Well, the IQ comes with pre-programmed temperatures called Smart Paths which we discuss in our Davinci IQ review below. It is available from the brand’s official website for $274.99 and Davinci IQ accessories include a carry can, chimney brush, alcohol wipes, USB charging cable, 10mm adaptor, and keychain tool.

Features of the DaVinci IQ
The IQ is just over 3.5 inches high but weighs a surprising 145 grams, a testament to its durability. Davinci uses zirconia because of its excellent thermal conduction properties and its use in the famed ‘flavor chamber’ guarantees even heat distribution and outstanding flavor and vapor clouds.
There are two mouthpieces, both made from ceramic zirconia. The flat mouthpiece is better for concealment but tends to feel hot on your lips. The Flavor Chamber is located in the vapor path just before it gets to your mouth. When you load your herbs, the chamber only heats up partially so you get the flavor without cooking the herbs. Also, your herbs are coated with vapor which should lead to an enhanced experience in theory. In practice, it was merely ‘okay’ so after six or so sessions, draw resistance became too much so we removed the herbs.
The device comes with a replaceable 3500 mAh battery which lasts from 60-80 minutes on a full charge. You can charge the battery externally or internally; the former is the faster option at two hours while internal battery charging takes far too long at four hours.
The temperature range is from 230 degrees Fahrenheit to 430 degrees and it heats to the minimum temperature in around 16 seconds. However, it can take up to 45 seconds to get to maximum heat. Where the Davinci IQ excels is in the level of temperature control it offers.
IQ Smart Paths
This is a really cool feature because it enables you to pre-program your session. You begin at a selected temperature and the IQ vaporizer will gradually increase its heat by 20 degrees in around 10 minutes. There are four customizable Smart Paths; the first two are best for flavor while 3 & 4 are ideal for vapor cloud production. The Paths run from 350-430 degrees (the first one is 350-370, the second is 370-390 and so on). You will reach the max temperature five minutes in and the device will stay at that level until the end of the session.
Precision Mode enables you to pick an exact temperature and it is maintained for 10 minutes. Boost Mode is activated when you hold down the IQ’s top button and it causes the device to work its way to 430 degrees gradually but you must hold the button constantly. There is also an app which offers an even greater degree of customization. Overall, the IQ enables you to change temperature by a single degree which allows for total control.
How to Use the Davinci IQ Vaporizer
We recommend using an SLX grinder to maximize the efficiency of the device. Open the chamber and fill it with herb. You should be able to get up to 0.3 grams into the chamber. We found that finely ground herb offered great flavor but when you grind it coarsely, you benefit from lower draw resistance.
Press the control button five times to switch on the IQ and click the button to switch between Smart Path and Precision modes. You can pick the temperature using the up and down buttons or the Smart Path and the herb begins to heat up. Once the herb is ready, start vaping.
You should empty the bowl after every use and brush the chamber. If you do this, you’ll find that cleaning the IQ is very easy. The flavor chamber requires the most cleaning so slide it out, dip it into isopropyl alcohol and rub it off. Do the same with the mouthpieces after every use.
Davinci IQ: Vapor Quality
We were a little disappointed with the flavor chamber but in general, the IQ provides you with great vapor clouds and flavor quality. It is an extremely efficient unit; we were unable to find a trace of green on our herbs after a session. The heater is powerful enough to enable you to take consecutive large draws. The stirring tool is a great piece of kit and should be used halfway through a session when you’re in a hurry.
Overall Thoughts on the Davinci IQ
The IQ is Davinci’s third vaporizer and is comfortably the best. We have no complaints about the quality of sessions it provides and it offers unparalleled temperature control. Assuming Davinci releases another device, we hope it addresses the issue of battery charge time because at present, it takes far too long.
Davinci IQ Pros
- Easy to hold and extremely portable.
- Total temperature control thanks to the Smart Path and Boost Mode options.
Easy to load and use.
- Excellent vapor quality and flavor.
Davinci IQ Cons
- On the expensive side.
- The battery takes too long to charge.
- It is hard to clean if you allow residue to build up.

2: Pax 3 – We Checked This Brand and DAMN… They’re Legit!
We did a full-on Pax 3 review not too long ago, and it provided an in-depth analysis of its features and details on how to use the state-of-the-art dry herb vaporizer. As you can probably guess, the Pax 3 vaporizer is the brand’s third offering and fortunately, it is a significant improvement over its predecessors. The Pax 3 is on sale from the official website for $199, with the choice to pay an extra $50 for a kit that includes a concentrate insert, a multi-tool, three screens, and a half pack oven lid.
Features of the Pax 3 Vape
Regarding size and shape, the Pax 3 vape is very similar to the Pax 2. The new version’s polished finish makes it look sleek and sophisticated, but there are concerns about how durable it will be over the long-term. It fits snugly in your hand and kind of looks like an expensive cigarette lighter; this is especially the case when you twist off the mouthpiece.
The device is made from anodized aluminum and the mouthpieces and lids are magnetically attached, with connections that are extremely secure and reliable. Pax has chosen to continue with its minimalist ergonomic design with the Pax 3, which has been nicknamed the ‘iPax’ by several publications.
The device comes with a micro USB cable, a custom charging dock, a packing tool, three oven lids, two mouthpieces, extra screens, a cleaning kit, and of course, the vaporizer unit itself. If you’re in need of a quick vape, the Pax 3 is your friend because it heats up in around 16 seconds – one of the best in the biz.
One of the most significant upgrades on the Pax 3 comes in the form of the battery. While the Pax 2 used a 3000 mAh battery, the Pax 3 uses a whopping 3500 mAh battery, which explains why the heating up time was slashed down from 45 seconds to just 16 seconds. There are four temperature settings:
- Green – 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Yellow – 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Orange – 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Red – 420 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Pax 3’s added battery capacity means you can get up to 110 minutes of heated runtime with every charge. It takes up to 105 minutes to fully charge from a completely dead battery, and overall, which is extremely impressive compared to other units in the price range. For reference, we were able to get a remarkable 180 draws from a single charge!
Also, with the half-pack lid (which is a cool little feature), you can pack up to 0.2 grams of dry herb in the chamber. If you want more, simply use the standard oven lid and you’ll get up to 0.4 grams which is enough for the majority of users. Incidentally, the half-pack lid helps reduce draw resistance by up to 20% – another big advantage over the Pax 2.
The Pax 3 also has a Concentrate Insert, which is great news if you prefer to vape wax, crumble, or other forms of high-potency extracts. It is leak-proof and offers terrific vapor quality, genuine smoothness, and intense flavor.
Pax 3 Has Its Own App
We’re living in an era where there is an app for everything, and the Pax 3 does not disappoint! The device offers Bluetooth connectivity so you can pair it with your smartphone, and you can also lock and customize the Pax 3’s user interface straight from the mobile device. It also shows you the live temperature display, an in-depth options menu, video tutorials, and much more (actually, the tutorials provide you with more information than what’s included in the Pax 3 user guide). There are five dynamic modes to choose from:
- Standard: Ideal for first-time users.
- Boost: Rapidly increases the temperature and cools it down slowly. This is your ticket if you want a fast and furious session.
- Flavor: Boosts the temperature quickly (but ensures it drops just as fast).
- Stealth: Dims the LED lights and cools the unit down faster (also saves battery).
- Efficiency: Ensures your oven’s temperature increases by just one degree for the duration of your vaping session.
How to Use and Clean the Pax 3 Vaporizer
You can choose between a flat and raised mouthpiece, the latter being the better option for vaping at high temperatures because it prevents your lips and throat from being burned. Remove the lid (either half-lid or standard) from the oven to expose the chamber. We recommend using an SLX grinder as it is capable of grinding your herb to a consistency that works superbly with the Pax 3.
Replace the lid and press down on the mouthpiece to switch on the device. The LEDs should change from purple to green. Now, enter your preferred temperature by pushing down on the mouthpiece for two seconds. Continue pressing down if you wish to go to a higher temperature. Finalize your selection by shaking the device or pressing down in the middle of the mouthpiece. Then, begin inhaling!
We recommend cleaning the device thoroughly after every eight bowls. If you leave it longer than this, draw resistance increases and you’ll suffer the consequences in terms of potency and efficiency. The Pax 3 comes with pipe cleaners (which you should definitely use) and isopropyl alcohol to clean out the oven, the vapor path, and the mouthpiece. If you’re super anal, you can do a fast clean after every session too.
Whether you use dry herb or concentrate, you’ll be pleased to know that draw resistance is low. When we tried the herb, we were delighted with the smooth vaping experience and flavor quality. As usual, lower temperatures offered the best flavor while the highest setting was great for intense hits and monstrous vapor clouds. Unfortunately, 420 degrees is not hot enough to get the best out of wax concentrates, but on the plus side it normally results in longer sessions.
Overall Thoughts on the PAX 3
Stylistically and aesthetically, the Pax 3 doesn’t really look better than the Pax 2 – but its performance is a major improvement. The additional battery life and reduced heat-up time alone make it worth upgrading, in our opinion. Also, the half-pack lid means you can have a quick session any time you like. We also like the Haptic Feedback upgrade, which is effectively a vibration alert that adds a certain level of “user friendliness.”
The Pax 3 comes with a whopping 10-year warranty and for $199, it is affordable for most users. The Pax 3’s release date was November 2016 and while it is no longer ahead of its time like it was back then, it is still one of the finest vaporizers you can buy.
Pax 3 Pros
- Extremely good vapor quality.
- The app increases user control.
- Four temperature settings.
- The half-pack lid allows you to enjoy a short and sweet session.
- 10-year warranty.
- Works with both herbs and concentrates.
- Faster heat up time than the Pax 2.
- Exceptional battery life.
Pax 3 Cons
- Even with the price drop, it is still more expensive than many of its rivals.
- Maximum temperature is not enough to get the best out of wax concentrates.

3: Linx GAIA – A Nice Device at a Nice Price
You can purchase the GAIA on the brand’s official website for $159.99. It is Linx’s first attempt at a dry herb vape and it was the world’s first dry herb vaporizer that used a quartz herb chamber. In our Linx GAIA review, we decide whether the quartz chamber boosts performance along with the pros and cons of the device.
Features of the LinK GAIA
Design wise, the Linx GAIA resembles one of those hip flasks we use to smuggle vodka during a boring family outing. It is a stunning looking piece of kit all told with crisp and clean edges and a brushed aluminum finish. It also feels durable and the LCD on the side is easy enough to read. There are two temperature adjustment buttons and a power button.
There is also a packing tool stored magnetically at the device’s base and to access the glass mouthpiece, you simply have to remove the magnetic cap. Its style means you can vape discreetly and it is easy to conceal in your pocket.
Unlike other brands who used ceramic or stainless steel in their ovens up to that point, Linx went in a different direction with its quartz chamber. The device combines conduction and convection heating and your herb is vaporized by the heat that gets radiated through the oven’s walls. You should be able to fit around 0.25 grams of dry herb.
The GAIA heats up to a maximum of 428 degrees Fahrenheit and you have total control thanks to the variable temperature buttons at the base of the device. In our experience, it took around 30 seconds to heat up to the maximum temperature. During our testing, we discovered that the GAIA lasted around two hours of continuous moderate use which is excellent. It takes around two hours to charge fully from a dead battery.
The Linx GAIA – How to Use
Remove the magnetic cap and unscrew the mouthpiece. The chamber is now exposed so pack it with your herb; we recommend using the packing tool that’s conveniently located at the base of the GAIA. Put the mouthpiece back on and press the power button five times to turn on the power. Select your preferred temperature and wait for your herb to heat up. Finally, hold down the power button to start vaping.
Linx has created a YouTube video to show you the best way to clean the device. Get a Q-tip, the Linx cleaning brush and some isopropyl. Unscrew the filter from the bottom of the mouthpiece and unscrew the top to reveal three separate pieces. Place each one in the isopropyl. Next, dip the Q-tip in the alcohol and clean the mouthpiece with it. Sweep out the chamber with the cleaning brush and use the Q-tip to clean the inside. Finally, wipe off residue from the mouthpiece parts and reassemble.
The quartz chamber certainly helps produce excellent flavor and vapor clouds. The clean taste is combined with minimal draw resistance for an outstanding vaping experience. There is more conduction going on than convection however which is a shame because the former offers better flavor. On the plus side, the chamber heats up the herb evenly which means you can take long or short draws and still enjoy yourself.
Overall Thoughts on the Linx GAIA
It took a long time but Linx finally broke the mold by releasing a vaping device with a quartz heating chamber. The result is a vaporizer that delivers and its cause is aided by the air insulation system which reduces draw resistance, the easy to read LCD screen and full temperature control. Battery life is excellent, we just wish it didn’t take so long to charge. We hope our Linx GAIA vaporizer review proves useful to you!
Linx GAIA Pros
- Excellent overall performance.
- Superb battery life.
- Stylish and discreet design.
- Quartz chamber heats the herb evenly.
- Full temperature control.
- Lower price than rival models.
Linx GAIA Cons
- The battery takes a long time to charge fully.
- Auto-shut off feature of 4 minutes is too short in duration.
- The mouthpiece occasionally gets hot.
4: Take to the Skies with The Magic Flight Launch Box
The first thing we noticed during our Magic Flight Launch Box review was the uniqueness of the design. It is less a vaporizer and more a work of art and you can purchase it on the brand’s official website for $119.
Features of the Magic Flight Launch Box
While the technology might be dated, the design stands the test of time. It is a beautifully designed wooden box available in Cherry, Walnut, or Pine. There is an herb chamber, air intake hole, draw hole, and battery port carved into the box. The stainless-steel mesh screen is located in the chamber area and is connected to two metal rods. The rods make contact with the battery so when you press the power button, the chamber gets heated up.
At just 2.5 inches high, the Magic Flight Launch Box (or MFLB for short) seems pretty tiny but you feel the solid weight of the wood when you grab it. Unlike practically every other vaporizer on the market which uses 18650 batteries, this device uses old-fashioned AA batteries.
The brand recommends using NiMH rechargeable batteries for the device and it offers a ‘fast’ charger. Unfortunately, this still means waiting four hours for the batteries to charge fully. They only last one load of up to 12 draws in our experience. On the one hand, if you have lots of batteries available, it isn’t a problem but most users believe the old-school approach is a pain.
According to the brand, the device is calibrated to reach 380 degrees Fahrenheit within four seconds of being switched on. It is an impressive feat although the lack of control could be a problem for those seeking huge vapor clouds. The chamber holds a maximum of 0.1 grams of dry herb which isn’t a lot; but a little goes a long way with the Magic Flight Box because of its efficiency.
How to Use the Magic Flight Launch Box
Grind your herbs up thoroughly for a better vaping experience and place them in the chamber. Press the power button to engage the battery and within seconds, you should be ready for your first draw. We found that pulls of 5-10 seconds worked best. The lack of temperature control means vaping is a trial and error process. If there is no vapor, the draw is too fast. If the herb begins to combust, the draw is too slow.
Cleaning the chamber is super easy and the screen rarely collects any residue because it acts as an emission surface. You might find that the box’s color gets darker over time but this doesn’t affect performance. Also, you MUST remove the batteries after a hit or risk allowing the load to overheat.
For all its flaws, when you learn to use the MFLB vape device, you will be astounded by the flavor. Vapor production is pretty good but the flavor is sensational and you will really ‘feel’ the effects of the herb. The chamber also does a fantastic job of vaporizing all the herbs so there is no need to worry about waste.
Overall Thoughts on the Magic Flight Launch Box
In many ways, this vaporizer is extremely dated. There is no temperature control and learning to use it properly takes time. Playing around with old-fashioned AA batteries is annoying, as is the lengthy recharging time. However, despite all the downsides, the Magic Flight Launch Box offers exemplary performance; it just isn’t a good option for beginners.
Magic Flight Launch Box Pros
- Excellent flavor.
- Extremely efficient.
- Beautifully designed box.
Magic Flight Launch Box Cons
- No temperature controls.
- Significant learning curve.
- The rechargeable batteries take an age to charge fully.
- Battery power is extremely poor.
5: Crafty Vaporizer – Try It & Love It!
The Crafty Vaporizer is brought to you by Storz and Bickel GMBH which can be a tad confusing when searching for the website! In any case, you can purchase the vaping device from the official website for €298. We have seen the Crafty vaporizer on sale on eBay for around €200 although you may not get the same guarantees as you do from the official site. As you can probably tell, the manufacturer is from Europe, Germany in fact, and it is the same firm that released the Mighty portable vaporizer.
Features of the The Crafty Vaporizer
It is 4.3 inches high, weighs 136 grams and fits comfortably in your pocket or purse while also nestling snugly on your hand. The reason why it is relatively light is that the Storz and Bickel Crafty has a hard-plastic shell and design wise, it kind of resembles a hand grenade! It is durable and doesn’t get too hot during a session which is great news.
There are two temperature settings:
- Default: 356 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Boost: 383 degrees Fahrenheit.
However, if you download the Crafty App, everything changes. Suddenly, you’re able to control the temperature anywhere within the 104 – 410 degrees Fahrenheit range. The app also enables you to change the LED brightness on the device and your notification/vibration settings.
The heating up time of the device is rather slow as it can take up to 90 seconds to reach the Default temperature. In an industry where portable vaporizers are capable of heating up in seconds, this is a major problem for Storz and Bickel.
The chamber holds around 0.25 grams of herb although you can bump it up by 0.05 grams if you finely grind them. However, packing the chamber too densely could result in heavy draw resistance although this isn’t an issue we experienced.
The Li-ion battery should provide you with approximately 45 minutes of continuous use but it takes two hours to charge fully. On plus point is that you can use the Crafty while it is charging as long as it has at least 20% battery life left. The USB charging system ensures you can charge the device almost anywhere.
How to Use the Crafty Vaporizer
The Storz Bickel Crafty also comes with important cleaning accessories such as replacement screens and a brush. The grinder is a nice touch, as is the Filling Aid which ensures that loading the device is a piece of cake.
We also love the low level of maintenance that is required. While you should clean out the chamber after every use, it is only necessary to perform a thorough cleaning after several uses. It is easy to take the device apart and dip it in isopropyl when necessary. You can even use concentrates with the Filling Pad but the Crafty’s maximum temperature isn’t hot enough to get the best effects.
In a word, outstanding! It is one of the few vaporizers we have come across that provides you with a consistently good vapor cloud and flavor regardless of how full the chamber is. The chamber has a Cooling Unit and it ensures the vapor remains cool as it reaches your lips.
Overall Thoughts on the The Crafty Vaporizer
The Crafty vaporizer comes with a 2-year warranty which is the industry standard and given the company’s reputation for delivering well-built products, you probably won’t be forced to use it.
Ultimately, the Crafty vaporizer has a tremendous number of things going for it. The vapor quality is consistently excellent with minimal draw resistance, it is incredibly easy to load, and the app gives you full temperature control. Alas, it is slightly let down by the lengthy recharging time, long heating up time and the relatively short battery life. Even so, the Crafty is worth considering even if it is a bit on the expensive side.
- Allows for discreet vaping.
- Temperature control to the degree with the app.
- Outstanding vapor production and flavor quality every time.
- Simple to use, load, and clean.
- Battery life is short and charging time is long.
- It takes far too long to heat up.
- Relatively expensive for a portable vaporizer.
6: Arizer Solo 2: This Vaporizer is the Best Way to Fly Solo with Your Herb
When Arizer released its Solo 2 Vape, it claimed that it was the most powerful portable it had created to date. Before we dive into our Arizer Solo 2 review, we recommend checking out the official site where you will find it on sale for $249.99.
Features of the Solo 2 Vape
The third Arizer portable vaporizer is a hybrid affair and can be used for dry herb and aromatics. While the Solo 2 is slimmer than its predecessor, it is actually heavier although the new design feels more comfortable in your pocket. Alas, the glass stem is easy to break so it reduces the portability of the device somewhat.
As is always the case with Arizer products, the build quality is outstanding. It is made from premium-quality medical grade components while the vapor path is made from borosilicate glass. The display is easy to read and we had no issues with the responsiveness of the buttons. Incidentally, it comes with two glass stems in case you break or misplace one.
The full temperature control offered by this Arizer Solo Vaporizer is manna from heaven for experienced vapers. You can control the heat to the degree from 122 degrees Fahrenheit to 428 degrees. Even better is the fact that it heats up to 400 degrees within 30 seconds. The chamber holds a maximum of 0.2 grams of herb which suits most users.
It gets even better; the average battery life is well over 150 minutes on a single charge. In other words, you should be getting at least 15, possibly even 20 sessions before you have to charge which is remarkable. The battery seems to take 150+ minutes to charge fully from 0% although you can vape while it charges and use it after just 10 minutes of charging.
How to Use the Arizer Solo 2
Menu options include controlling beep volume, altering the temperature in 1 or 10-degree increments, presetting the start-up time (4, 6 or 8 seconds), screen brightness and shutoff time (5-15 minutes). To use this Solo vaporizer, fill the bottom of the glass tube with your herb and place it in the chamber. Hold down the top and menu buttons together to switch the device on.
Unlike other models which heat up automatically when switched on, you have to press the Up arrow to begin heating the herb. Next, select your preferred temperature and get ready to vape. You can also decide on the length of your session from a minimum of five minutes to a maximum of 15. We found that it reached 300 degrees F in 20 seconds but didn’t reach its max temperature of 428 F for 35 seconds.
Make sure you brush out the chamber after each session. Otherwise, residue collects and it is hard to get rid of. It also increases draw resistance. Beyond this, your best bet is to change screens with regularity as there is little else you need to do regarding maintenance. Arizer Solo accessories include two glass stems (90mm and 110mm long respectively), a potpourri dish, extra screens, cleaning tools, an external DC charger and a nicely designed carrying case.
After experimentation, we found that a medium coarse grind was your best starting point. The vapor quality is excellent and we enjoyed the experience when the temperature was around 370 degrees. Both aroma tubes have a long air path which cools down the vapor. Once you go above 400 degrees, vapor production escalates significantly but make sure you don’t go so high as to risk combustion.
Overall Thoughts on the Arizer Solo 2
The upgrades have placed the Solo 2 firmly in the ‘best vaporizer on the market’ category. The battery life is remarkable, the only thing you need to clean is the glass stem, it heats up relatively quickly, and provides users with an insane level of vapor at the highest settings. It also guarantees full temperature control so you can decide if you want flavorful hits or cloud and clouds of gorgeous vapor.
Arizer Solo 2 Pros
- Incredible battery life.
- Temperature control in 1 and 10-degree increments.
- Works well with as little as 0.1 grams of herb.
- Easy to clean and maintain.
Arizer 2 Cons
- The glass stems can break easily.
- It isn’t particularly portable and is best used at home.
- It isn’t one of the more affordable models on the market.
7: Flowermate – This is Akin to Having an Herb Flower in your Pocket
To alleviate confusion, let us begin by stating that this is a brief Flowermate v5.0s review but we also look at other versions including the Flowermate v5.0s. It took us a while to figure out the difference which turns out to be nothing more than branding in most cases! You can learn more about the entire Flower mate range by visiting the official website.
Features of the Flowermate
From what we could ascertain, the V5.0s is the main Flowermate vaporizer and it has a sleek design that makes it look like a mobile phone with a borosilicate mouthpiece sticking out. It retails at $119.99 and comes with two Li-ion batteries. We were very impressed by the battery life and were able to get 120-150 minutes of use on a single charge. It has three color-coded temperature settings:
- Blue: 385 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Purple: 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Red: 415 degrees Fahrenheit.
It is a fairly simple design and easy to use with just one button to worry about. The ceramic lined heating chamber fits around 0.3 grams.
Although it is a budget model, it produces impressive clouds of vapor and also tastes great. Draw resistance is fairly low; you won’t have to pull very hard to get a decent hit and it is also a great vaping device for sharing.
Which Flowermate Vape is Best?
That’s a tricky question to answer because there are several Flowermate v5 models alone, not to mention that you can choose between oil and dry herb vaping devices. The V5.0X model is on sale for under $100 and is a little more advanced than the V5.0s. It has six temperature settings ranging from 355 degrees to 410 degrees Fahrenheit.
It also uses a single button to control battery level checks, change temperature and switch the product on and off. The V5.0X takes around 30 seconds to heat up to the lowest setting and it also has the now-famous Flowermate battery life; we got over 150 minutes from a single charge! There is even a 6-minute auto shut-off feature and we like the fact that there is a battery indicator; we wish all models had one.
Overall Thoughts on the Flowermate
The Flowermate range of vaporizers are affordable and provide high-quality vapor production and flavor. The battery life is amazing and while the temperature controls are not the most sophisticated, simple is often better, especially when new to vaping.
- Affordable portable vaporizers.
- Good vapor quality for the price.
- Easy to use with no learning curve.
- Outstanding battery life.
- There doesn’t seem to be much of a difference between all of the models.
- You only receive a 1-year warranty against defects and a 90-day warranty on the batteries.
8: Volcano Vaporizer: Flavors Erupt like a Volcano with This Vaporizer
The Volcano vape was created by Storz and Bickel, the same brand that created the Crafty and Mighty vaporizers. This review will look at the Volcano Digit Vaporizer which is for sale on the brand’s official website for $599.
Features of the Volcano Vaporizer
The company received an enormous boost when the Volcano became the first and only vaporizer approved by Health Canada for medical marijuana users several years ago. It is a desktop vaporizer that resembles a volcano and can only be used in your home. It is a plug-in device so there is no need to worry about charging.
The automatic shutoff timer is a fantastic feature; your unit is instantly switched off if left unused for 30 minutes. This feature preserves the heating element but given our experience of the Volcano Classic, which has worked well for years despite constant usage, there is little danger of the Digit’s heating element running into trouble.
There are two different value systems to choose from:
It is made from heat resistant plastic and durable stainless steel and has customizable balloon sizes. The downside is that you have to clean the balloons regularly. The mouthpiece and chamber are of better quality than on the Easy Valve and you only need to pay a maximum of $10 annually for new balloons.
This offers one balloon size only which is better for maintenance but will cost up to $50 a year for replacements.
Regardless of which one you choose; the Volcano Digit uses a forced air system to fill the balloons. The Digit has a digital temperature display and you can adjust the temperature by pressing the + and – buttons. One major downside with the Digit is that you have to wait at least three minutes for it to heat up.
How to Use the Volcano Digit
If you want light and thin vapor clouds with great flavor, begin at a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit; the maximum temperature is 446 degrees. Indeed, the Volcano produces a vapor level that you simply won’t get with any portable on the market.
When you switch on the power and select your preferred temperature, be prepared to wait a little because of the lengthy heat up time plus the fact that each balloon takes 30 seconds to fill. The Valve Balloon Adaptor makes life easy even for first-timers and the standard replacement set balloons ensure you should be up and running in no time as all you need to do is unravel the balloon and remove the mouthpiece.
The filling chamber only needs to be replaced annually and it fits around 0.5 grams of dry herb in the Easy Value. Make sure you use the cleaning brush regularly because if you don’t, residue starts to build around the inside of the balloons and the mouthpiece. You should get at least 100 uses per bag, sometimes 150-200, depending on how frequently you use the Digit. Incidentally, you can purchase 2-foot and 3-foot Easy Valve balloons.
Overall Thoughts on the Volcano Vaporizer
The Volcano Digit is a solid and reliable vaporizer. It weighs four pounds and is eight inches in diameter so isn’t a device you should be trying to move around! To be honest, there is no difference between the Digit and the cheaper Classic barring the more precise temperature control so if you want to save a few dollars, perhaps you should choose the Classic instead. You can also find the Volcano Vaporizer on Amazon but it isn’t much cheaper unless you wish to risk a second-hand model.
Volcano Digit Pros
- Holds up to 0.5 grams of dry herb.
- Precise temperature control allows you to adjust the heat and the current temperature is clearly on display.
- The vapor production and overall flavor are incredible.
- It is easy to use for a desktop vaporizer.
- Auto shut-off feature.
Volcano Digit Cons
- It is very expensive and debatable whether it is worth $120 more than the Classic.
- The digital temperature display includes a pair of buttons that are likely to succumb to wear and tear.
- It is rather bulky, heavy and noisy when in use.
9: Herbalizer – You Can Call This Dry Herb Vaporizer The ‘Heal-balizer’!
The Herbalizer vaporizer is an all-in-one vaping device designed by ex-NASA engineers and it certainly has a ‘space age’ look to it; although some users believe it looks more like a smoke alarm! You can purchase the Herbalizer desktop vaporizer from the official website for $479.
Features of the Herbalizer Vape
It is one of the few devices on the market that utilizes a halogen lightbulb within the heating element. This innovation is designed to provide you with clean tasting vapor. We liked the fact that the Herbalizer has a heat-up time of less than 10 seconds which sets it apart from other desktop devices. Its maximum temperature is 445 degrees Fahrenheit and you can use it for dry herb, wax, oils, and e-juice which means it offers unmatched versatility.
The herb chamber is rather small; we were unable to fit more than 0.2 grams but what the Herbalizer lacks in chamber size, it makes up for in efficiency terms. To be honest, you’ll get far better results by packing it around three-quarters full because the unit does an excellent job of heating your herb evenly.
The futuristic design looks cool but there are a couple of issues. First of all, the interior is white which means it looks dirty all the time unless you clean it after every use. There is also a cheap looking plastic tray which doesn’t fit with the rest of the quality design. The cooling fan is also a problem because it constantly switches on when you live in a warm climate and it makes a LOT of noise.
The SqueezeValve system works well but the balloons look very worn after a month or so of use. It is normal for the balloon to develop tears and the valves are not averse to splitting. Some users suggest using Volcano balloons as they fit and are more durable. However, the Herbalizer vape pushes air into the balloons at a much slower rate; it can take up to three minutes to fill a balloon.
How to Use the Herbalizer
Once you open the Herbalizer, it switches on automatically and you will see two trays. One is for vaping and the other is for aromatherapy. To use the latter method, dab in your wax or oils and place your substance on the small pad before placing it in front of the fan. Set the runtime and get ready to rumble.
When using the vapor method, set the heat level and choose between filling a balloon, inserting a whip, or drawing freestyle. There are Mylar bags and whips included in the Herbalizer’s kit and we were amazed to find that a chamber full of herbs filled two bags, each of which has a capacity of a liter.
Although the chamber is small, the efficiency of the Herbalizer means you benefit from immense vapor production whether you use herb, oil or wax. The halogen light bulb makes a huge difference to the flavor because you can taste how clean it is. When you add in the rapid heating up time, you have a desktop vaporizer that is hard to beat in the vapor quality stakes.
Overall Thoughts on the Herbalizer Vape
Although the price has come down from over $700, the Herbalizer is still a tad pricey at $479. It is one of the most versatile desktop vaporizers on the market, more than four years after its release. There are four draw options and it works well with oil, wax, and dry herb. The 2-year limited warranty is industry standard and during our Herbalizer review, we concluded that it is still worth an investment if you’re looking for a high-performance desktop vaporizer.
The Herbalizer Pros
- Multiple vaping options.
- Works with different materials including dry herb, oil, and wax.
- Outstanding vapor performance.
- Easy to clean and use.
- Total temperature control.
- Rapid heat-up time.
The Herbalizer Cons
- The fan is louder than in newer models.
- Still relatively expensive years after its release.
- The balloons and unit become very dirty looking after a few uses.
- Takes a long time to fill up the balloons.
10: Pulsar APX: A Thorough Inspection Found That This is a Really Cool Device
The Pulsar APX vaporizer is one of the brand’s bestselling vaping devices and you can purchase it from the official site for $60 or so. It is one of the most compact portables on the market at around four inches high and during our Pulsar APX review, we found that it offers surprisingly good performance for the price tag.
Features of the Pulsar APX
Pulsar knows how to market its products and the APX is no different. There is a rich array of colors and patterns to choose from and the device itself has a simple, yet elegant design. The kit includes extra screens, a packing tool, USB charger, and a cleaning brush.
The Pulsar APX uses a ceramic heating chamber and its durability is enhanced by the stainless-steel base. As well as being able to use dry herbs, there is a concentrate canister you can add to use wax concentrate. Unlike most inexpensive portables, the APX has five preset heating levels to choose from ranging from the lowest setting of 356 degrees Fahrenheit to the highest temperature of 428 degrees Fahrenheit.
The heat-up time is approximately 40 seconds which is relatively good for a small portable device. We were very surprised to find that we could fit around 0.3 grams of dry herb into the chamber. The 1600mAH Li-ion battery offers up to 90 minutes of continuous use when fully charged and it takes approximately 90 minutes to charge a dead battery fully.
How to Use and Clean the Pulsar APX Vaporizer
The APX is the ultimate in user-friendly portable vaporizers as it only has one control button. Press it five times to power up the unit and hold the button to cycle through the five temperature settings which are color coded. You can see the chamber when you remove the mouthpiece and the packing tool makes it easy to load. If you perform a quick clean after each session, maintenance is minimal.
You might expect such an inexpensive unit to offer subpar vapor but once again, the APX vape surprised us in a good way. ‘Tiny but mighty’ is the phrase that springs to mind as the miniscule unit produces large vapor clouds on the highest settings and satisfying flavor at the lowest temperatures.
It is a convection heating model and this, along with the ceramic chamber design, is the reason why the APX performs so well. It heats up your herb evenly and vaporizes it with little risk of combustion. As a bonus, the mouthpiece doesn’t get hot.
Overall Thoughts on the Pulsar APX
The APX vaporizer is proof that you shouldn’t focus on price tags. It is the ideal vaping device for beginners because of its ease of use and low cost. The vapor quality and flavor are as good as more expensive rivals and the battery life is also excellent.
Pulsar APX Pros
- The definition of a ‘portable’ vaporizer.
- Impressive battery life.
- Surprisingly good vapor quality.
- Five preset temperature settings.
Pulsar APX Cons
- The 6-month warranty is a little short.
11: KandyPens K-Vape – A Cheerful Addition to the Vape Market
The KandyPens brand is synonymous with ‘cool’ as it has used various musicians to promote its products. There is a huge array of vaporizers and accessories for sale on the company’s official website including the famous K-Vape and K-Vape 2.0 devices.
Features of the KandyPens Vapes
There are two versions of the K-Vape and the 2.0 is clearly the more advanced and is available for $99.95. It has a simple yet stylish design and looks fairly innocuous. As a result, you can vape in peace without worrying about being hassled. KandyPens promises ‘No Combustion’ with the K-Vape 2.0 and we found that the brand is true to its word as there wasn’t a hint of combustion, even on the highest temperature setting.
There are three settings in total: 360, 380 and 420 degrees Fahrenheit. While the device is mainly made from plastic, there is also a rubber coating. The heat-up time of 45 seconds is merely ‘okay’; there are cheaper devices that ensure you’re ready to vape even quicker.
What really impressed us was the enormous size of the loading chamber. At 0.6 grams, it is bigger than the majority of vaping devices on the market. On the downside, if you only pack it half full, the vapor quality and flavor diminish somewhat so it is not the best option for quick vaping sessions. We were able to get five sessions from a full battery which equates to approximately 50 minutes.
How to Use the K-Vape 2.0
It is a user-friendly device. Remove the mouthpiece to view the chamber and load your dry herb. Finely ground herb produces the best results. When you’re ready, press the power button five times to switch the unit on and wait for the LED indicator to tell you when it is ready to vape.
The color coding on the K-Vape is a bit confusing as the light goes red on the lowest setting and blue when you reach the maximum temperature. Once you brush out the chamber and mouthpiece after each session, there is little else to do regarding maintenance. Every so often, disassemble the device and clean it with Q-tips soaked in alcohol and paper towels.
There is always a danger that inexpensive portable devices will fall down when it comes to vapor production, but the K-Vape 2.0 just about steers clear of this trap. Admittedly, it is far from being top-notch but it is good enough for inexperienced vapers. Seasoned users will probably be unimpressed. The taste of the vapor is a little harsh on the highest settings but is much smoother at the minimum preset temperature.
Overall Thoughts on the KandyPens Vapes
Although you can buy the K-Vape or K-Vape 2.0, it is the latter that you’ll find on the official website. It is light, portable, has an excellent chamber capacity and decent battery life. It is a good starter vaping device and if you wish to treat yourself, you can purchase the 24K Edition K-Vape in white/gold. It is a beautiful looking device worth showing off to your friends.
K-Vape 2.0 Pros
- Ideal for beginners.
- Decent battery life for the price.
- Large chamber.
K-Vape 2.0 Cons
- Relatively slow heat-up time.
- Mediocre vapor quality.
- Doesn’t feel particularly durable.
12: Plenty Vaporizer – Buy This & You Won’t Regret It!
The Storz and Bickel Plenty vaporizer is yet another entry from the reputable German company. It is a whip-style device designed for home use and resembles a power tool in terms of design! You purchase it from the official website for $349 and in this review, we see how it compares to portables and desktop vaporizers.
Features of the Plenty Vape
Although the Plenty vape plugs into a wall socket like a typical desktop vaporizer, it is a lot more compact and easier to use thanks to the handle and attached mouthpiece. Therefore, you can hold it in your hand during a session; especially since it weighs just 1.4 pounds.
The device takes around five minutes to warm up which is a little slower than desktops such as the Volcano. It has a range of temperature options from 100 to 420 degrees Fahrenheit and it utilizes an old-fashioned yet stylish looking temperature gauge.
The herb chamber has a larger surface area than the Volcano which enables you to sprinkle smaller amounts of herb for yourself, or pack it so that 3-4 people can use it. When using the Plenty for yourself, place the Liquid Pad (included with the kit) on top of the herb to fill up the rest of the chamber. This prevents the herbs from sliding and ensures you enjoy even draws because the herb is heated up correctly.
However, it is the cooling coil, attached to the mouthpiece, which helps the Plenty stand out. It may look unusual but it serves a crucial purpose. It cools down the vapor when it travels through the tube so you don’t have to worry about a warm mouthpiece.
How to Use the Plenty Vaporizer
The filling chamber is at the bottom and a cylinder is attached. Above that, you have the lower and upper screens followed by the filling chamber cap, lower tubing section, cooling coil, upper tubing section and finally, the mouthpiece. It is very easy to access the filling chamber and also to pack the herb. The fact that you don’t have to worry about filling balloons is a real bonus.
Storz and Bickel recommend packing your herbs first before connecting the coil. Next, screw the entire herb chamber and coil on top and use the dial to set your preferred temperature. For the record, setting #7 offers the highest temperature. Hit the power switch, turn on the heater and you should see a light turn on in the front of the device. Wait a few minutes for it to heat up and start vaping.
The handle has a switch which restarts the heater after it switches off. The only problem is that you have to wait 90 seconds to resume your session. Therefore, when the unit initially reaches the preset temperature, it goes off which is your queue to start drawing the vapor. The temperature begins to fall but it makes little difference to the quality of your vaping session. You have to press the switch on the handle to reheat the unit to your preset temperature. Once you get used to this issue, you’ll love using the Plenty.
The quality of vapor produced by the Plenty is as good as we’ve come across. At the beginning of your session, the first two draws will have little vapor but exceptional flavor quality. From the third draw onward, you will be in vapor cloud heaven! We found that when the temperature gauge was kept in the green section, the vapor quality continued to be superb.
Overall Thoughts on the Plenty Vape
The Plenty is one of the least expensive at-home vaporizers on the market, and also one of the best. The unique design is zany but user-friendly because it is so easy to load and clean. The cooling coil makes a big difference and the vapor quality is off the charts. It is light, has a convenient handle and no balloons! In many ways, the experience is a lot like a portable but of course, you plug it into the wall.
- Reasonably priced.
- Incredible vapor quality.
- Handheld for comfort and convenience.
- The herb chamber is massive and easy to load.
- Ideal for vaping sessions with friends.
- The cooling coils make for a pleasant vaping experience.
- You have to plug it in, so it is not portable.
- The heat-up time is longer than with desktop vaporizers such as the Volcano.
- The separate heater switch has a bit of a learning curve.
13: Atmos Kiln – Does It Score a Perfect Ten?
If you like what you read in this Atmos Kiln Review, you can purchase it from the official website for $84.95. We must warn you, while you can buy Atmos’ devices elsewhere, the company will not honor its 5-year warranty or money back guarantee unless you purchase the products from their website.
Although the name Kiln makes the vaporizer sound like a desktop model, it is an affordable portable which comes with accessories such as a packing tool, USB charger, and replacement rubber bands. It is an unusually designed piece because you can purchase and attach different elements. For example, you can buy the Atmos Kiln heating attachment and use it with standard 510-threaded batteries.
While the Kiln vape is sold with a 950mAh battery, you can use another one instead as long as it remains in the 900-1100mAh range. It has a simple design with a ceramic disc coil inside the top part. It is designed for wax concentrate and the small chamber only allows you to include a tiny amount of wax.
On the plus side, the unit heats up within a few seconds of hitting the power button. It is probably best to stay below 400 degrees Fahrenheit but you may not get the vapor quality you’re looking for at such a relatively low temperature for a wax. The device automatically shuts off after 10 seconds of inactivity which is a great way to increase the heating plate’s longevity.
Depending on the battery you use, it is possible to get anywhere from 60-180 minutes of continuous use from a single charge. It charges from 0% to 100% in around 120 minutes.
How to use the Atmos Kiln
Unscrew the mouthpiece and you’ll see the atomizer core’s top. Next, unscrew the part of the base that is above the power button. Now, you can see the chamber so load it with concentrate and replace the parts you just removed. Press the power button five times to switch the Kiln on and you’ll be ready to vape in seconds.
As wax build-up is noticeable against a white backdrop, we recommend cleaning the Kiln vaporizer after every use. Disassemble it completely and clean with rubbing alcohol.
The airflow is excellent and the rapid heating time means you can rely on large vapor clouds from your first draw. Another advantage of the Kiln is that you get intense vapor production from much shorter draws than with rival products. However, if your draws are too long, the wax bubbles up and becomes tough to clean. It is also important not to pack too much wax or the unit will get clogged.
Overall Thoughts on the Atmos Kiln
The Atmos Kiln is a good portable vaporizer at a competitive price. It produces super clean and smooth vapor and vaporizes your wax efficiently. The fast heat-up time is also a bonus and the battery life is good for a device in this price range. The Atomizer is available separately or you can purchase it with a compatible battery.
Atmos Kiln Pros
- Supreme vapor quality.
- Lightning fast heat-up time.
- Affordable, portable, and discreet.
Atmos Kiln Cons
- The design of the unit makes it confusing for newbies.
- Wax build-up is very noticeable.
- The chamber is small.

14: Firefly 2: Is it the Vaping Industry’s Leader?
Upon its release in 2016, the Firefly 2 vaporizer was widely hailed as the finest portable vaping device in the world. Two years on, it still carries a high price tag of $329.95 and you can purchase it from the official Firefly website. In our Firefly review, we determine if the brand has improved upon the original and whether the new version is worth the cost.
The Firefly 2 vape is similarly designed to its predecessor insofar as it resembles a mobile phone rather than a vaporizer. However, it is over 50% lighter and more than 30% smaller than the Firefly 1. The magnesium alloy body ensures the device retains its toughness while becoming sleeker and more portable than before.
There are six preset temperature settings in a device that is compatible with dry herbs and concentrates. There are five dry herb settings ranging from 340 to 420 degrees Fahrenheit and one dedicated wax setting of 500 degrees. The Firefly 2 heats up incredibly quickly; it takes around three seconds to reach 400 degrees and five seconds to hit the top setting for dry herbs.
When you download the Firefly 2 App, you can control the temperature and utilize the power tuning option which boosts the heat by a maximum of 11%. You can also use the app to check battery life among other things. The chamber is still fairly small and only allows a maximum of 0.15 grams of dry herb.
Speaking of battery life, you can get through around six vaping sessions on a full charge which is double the life of the Firefly 1. The Firefly 2 comes with two swappable batteries which charge in just 45 minutes. As a bonus, the battery charges to 80% in little over 20 minutes. You can charge the batteries in the external charger of the original Firefly. Finally, the Firefly 2 warranty is two years which is industry standard.
How to Use the Firefly 2
There are sensors on both sides of the device which replace the power button control on the original Firefly. You need to install the app to get better control of the device as it enables you to choose the buttons you want to use. It is easy to load your herbs and please note that the default setting is 400 degrees.
Your herb will heat up in a matter of seconds but you need to use the app to control the heating button which must be pressed to vaporize the weed. If you prefer to use wax, take one of the supplied concentrate pads and place some wax or oil on it. You must hold the power button to preheat the pads before vaping.
Although you should clean the Firefly 2 mouthpiece and chamber after every session, it is okay to be lazy for a few sessions because it takes a while for residue to build up. You could probably go through an entire battery’s worth of sessions without cleaning the device. When you eventually get around to it, use rubbing alcohol and paper towels.
The extra high-temperature setting for concentrates makes a huge difference. This is especially the case when you hold the power button for a few seconds before vaping. Vapor quality is also impressive when using herbs as long and slow draws provide outstanding flavor and cloud production.
Overall Thoughts of the Firefly 2
The Firefly 2 is a huge improvement on the original as it has improved battery life, even better vapor production, good battery life and outstandingly fast charging time. Our main quibble is the size of the chamber but the vaporizer’s efficiency means it isn’t that big a deal.
Firefly 2 Pros
- Rapid heating up time.
- Fast charging and reasonable battery life.
- Amazing quality of vapor.
- Versatile; enables you to use wax or dry herb.
- Six temperature settings.
Firefly 2 Cons
- Very expensive for a portable vaporizer.
- The chamber is tiny.
- It isn’t designed for vaping neophytes.
15: Smok Vape Pen 22 – A Highly Satisfactory Vaping Experience
The delightfully designed SMOK Vape Pen 22 is yet another high-quality wax vape pen from this brand’s stable. It is available in a variety of colors including the gorgeous Prism Rainbow scheme which would be our favorite only for the fact that it is very conspicuous. Your best bet is to purchase it from the official SMOK website.
Features of the SMOK Vape Pen 22
The brand new ‘Light’ version of the Vape Pen 22 weighs just 90 grams even though it is made from stainless steel. It is a little different to the other vape devices we have reviewed because it has an e-liquid capacity of 4ml with a power range of less than or equal to 60 Watts and a resistance range of 0.1 – 2.5 Ohms.
The eGo style battery means there is a fixed voltage figure which varies according to how much battery is left. The glass tank is a little flimsy for our liking and there is no replacement so if you break it, you have to order another one online. The rest of the device is solid and the battery is built into the device.
One major downside is the lack of display screen and there are also no adjustment buttons nor is there a removable atomizer. The wax pen comes with a 1650mAh battery and at its top, there is a tank base where you can install one of the two 0.3 Ohm coils. When it is time to refill the cartridge, unscrew the top cap and fill it with more e-juice. There is only one button to worry about and the 8-second cut off time is a handy feature.
How to Use the SMOK Vape Pen 22
Before you begin, attach one of the two coil heads and screw the glass tank in place. Fill it up with e-juice and seal it by screwing the cap back on. After filling the cartridge for the first time, make sure you let the tank stand for a few minutes to ensure the juice gets absorbed into the coil head.
Press the button five times to switch it on and marvel at how quickly you’re able to vape. Hold the button while vaping. We were delighted to find that the battery lasted a full day’s worth of vaping before it had to be recharged. Once it gets to 3.3V, you receive an alert warning you that a recharge is necessary. It takes around 120 minutes to recharge from 0% fully. It is very easy to take the vape pen for wax apart for cleaning and there is little maintenance involved.
If you are a beginner, be wary of the 0.3ohm coils as they are extremely powerful. Vapor production is reasonable but the Vape Pen 22 comes into its own when it comes to flavor. There are few, if any, starter kits that reward users with such rich and satisfying flavor. The downside is that you’ll go your e-juice quickly.
Overall Thoughts on the SMOK Vape Pen 22
As it is designed to look like a pen, this offering from SMOK is portable and allows you to vape discreetly. It is almost leakproof when correctly installed and the flavor it produces is sensational. It is easy to use and clean and the battery life is reasonable. While it is not the best wax vaporizer on the market, it is competitive.
SMOK Vape Pen 22 Pros
- Portable and affordable.
- Very easy to use.
- Delightful flavor.
SMOK Vape Pen 2 Cons
- The ejuice spills over the mod if the coilhead comes off with the top cap.
- Recharging on the go isn’t easy.
Best Marijuana Vaporizers for 2020: Final Thoughts
First of all, we would like to thank you for going through this exhaustive list of vaping devices! It wasn’t easy choosing the #1 brand because we are now living in a golden era where manufacturers are creating incredible vapes as standard. When it comes to at-home devices, you can’t go wrong with the Volcano although the Plenty is a worthy challenger.
Overall, we believe that the Davinci IQ is the best portable vaporizer on the market at present, and the #1 pick for 2020. Although it is relatively expensive, you get what you pay for in the form of terrific vapor quality, excellent battery life, and a convenient half-lid accessory which allows you to economize your weed. It’s a close call but we have to award our gold medal to the Davinci IQ.
